Tail rot?!

Excuse the state of his tank, Nik decided to run through his poo and wreck his home. I went to go start the process of cleaning but noticed his tail when I did. Does this look like tail rot or stuck shed? Sorry for the pics, I was too scared to touch him since I’ve heard horror stories of tails snapping off with tail rot. He’s 10 and otherwise happy and healthy.
