I usually make batches of rum cocktails for the beach. But Iโve been on a mezcal kick lately. If you want to do the same hereโs my strategy:
Mezcal Margs for 2
6 oz mezcal (I recommend Vida)
3 oz Cointreau
3 oz fresh lime juice
Add the ingredients to a cocktail shaker, first do a dry shake. Then add ice and shake 30 seconds. Strain into an empty yeti insulated water bottle, no ice! Fill two yeti drinking cups with just ice. Place all of this in your husbands backpack with an ice pack. It will be a bit heavy.
When you get to the beach just give the water bottle a quick shake and pour over the ice in your cups. Enjoy!๐ฐ
