When I first heard about Beme News I thought it would be the classic sort of muckraking, expository journalism that Casey used to be known for. Instead, we get videos that rehash various events long after they've been picked over by everybody else. Yes, Beme sometimes goes a little more in-depth than the competition with their stories, but they don't really add that much value to what already exists. The Beme team is capable of so much more if they can create their own news by exposing things that we don't already know about yet.
