Anyone know about 3D printed violet wand attachments? Saw them at Thunder. Need to use special filament?

Well, the title needed to be 100 characters for some reason, so I'll ask the same things here in the actual post.
Saw some 3d printed violet wand attachments at Thunder, and having both a printer and Rupert Huse violet wand, means this could be an epic DIY. If nothing else, I'm just looking forward to not having to baby glass attachments.
Anyone know if PLA will work, or do they have to be printed in some exotic filament?
