First paddle made. Nothing flash, but really happy with how it's come out. Going to practice my relief carving for the next one

Not 100% sure of the wood. I got it cheap at an auction. Main shape cut on bandsaw, 23mm diameter holes. All the rounding done with spokeshave, scraper, rasp and abrasive. Sanded to 320g and given a wax/oil blend finish. Silky smooth and stingy.
Hoping to give it a test run with my partner over the next few days
