I'm a quite skilled maker in my own time, playing with Arduino, 3d printers and so on. As sextoys I already built my own bullet vibrator and other small stuff.
I recently discovered edge-o-matic, an automatic edging machine, and I'd start wondering if I could make an opensource machine similar to that. To be clear, i don't want to create a fake 1:1 replica, I know the development costs for a small business like them and I get why they price their product like that; the idea is simply that maybe other makers like me would love building something similar by their own and have full controll of every aspects (like firmware customization) of their machine. So, I'm here to ask you what feature should a machine like that have as a must?
As hardware related stuff, I was thinking about a normally open and normally closed outlet to attach external accessories controlled by an arousal treshold, an arousal dependent pwm output and an arousal related programmable output (you can decide how the output should change depending how close you get to an orgasm) so you can attach a vibrator and other toys. Also a display showing all the settings is a must. Thinking about the software, a must for me is kind of remote control and the ability to configure arousal-to-vibrator speed curves. Am I missing something? Suggestions are welcome. The system will be probably based on a ESP32 and Arduino IDE, so that it's easy for everyone to experiment.
When I will have a first draft of the project, I will publish the Github link down here, so that if anyone of you want to help, it's able (and welcome). No, I don't plan to sell anything, just to make the blueprint and everything needed available, so that anyone can build one by himself.
