King Bed with Hidden Mounting Points and Toy Drawer

Post Body

Made myself a new king bed. Looks simple on its own, but has some extra features.

Top slat of each Side is on hinges Total of 8 mounting points on frame perfect for cuffs. Also, hidden drawer (with invisible magnetic lock) on one side with the toy collection, and put it all in foam for added coolness factor.

The bed is also heavily reinforced to be able to take a beating and not move or creak. 2x4 frame, construction screws, rubber padding on the bottom (bought a garage door weather guard and cut that to size for the bottom. Lot cheaper than the rubber feet meant for that job)

I do carpentry as a hobby and am working on building furniture in a new place. Also, have a kid and figured needed to keep some things hidden.

Any suggestions for headboard features?
