At some point, I want to move out of NYC to a place where I can have a house and a yard, and Bayonne is on my radar. I'm a gay guy, and I'd be interested to learn more about what Bayonne is like for LGBT people. I'm not expecting the LGBT community of the city to be replicated, but I wouldn't want to deal with active, overt homophobia either. Would anyone mind sharing insights?
I'd be very grateful for fact-based, on-topic responses. I'm respectfully not interested in anyone's opinion or feelings about homosexuality per se. The question is about the social climate in the town.
Thank you for any info!
