Swapping Bayos Glitch (game closing)

Has anyone else encountered this? I'm consistently trying to get the bewitchment in Chapter 12 where you have to do Baal's song without getting hit, but I wanted to try it with Bayonetta 2 as the costume. Fast forward to the second before the fight ACTUALLY starts (where you can swap things around and stuff) and when I swapped to Bayonetta 2 as well as Love Is Blue, the game force closed.

I tried this again in Chapter 1 to swap back to Bayonetta 3 and the same thing happened.

Anyone know why/how this is happening??
