Question on Rodin

So, as far as we know he's supposed to be based off of Auguste Rodin ( his work on the Gates of Hell for example) with some dashes of Lucifer's mythology (fallen angel) while not being the devil himself as stated during Bayo1 when he gives her the guns in the beginning, and considering Bayonetta is linked to Norse mythology.. is Rodin also supposed to be like Odin? (R)=odin considering he's the strongest thus far. Some say 3 is supposed to be Ragnarok as well so maybe he's absent?
