I cannot wrap my head around the decision to keep Tuchel until the end of the year. Explain this to me.
Post Body

I have NEVER been a fan of Tuchel. Personally I've always thought he was a complete charlatan who had some luck and mainly rode out the momentum someone before him had built. Regardless, Bayern made probably one of the dumbest mistakes ever in sacking JN the way they did and bringing in Tuchel. Not only was it a completely gutless, spineless, classless way of doing something, but what you ventured in the process to the return at the end has to be one of the biggest failed gambles of all time in professional football. It's a fucking travesty. It's going to haunt us for the next 5 years.

So Tuchel came, did Tuchel things, got Tuchel results, everyone hates him and he basically got sacked yet....we're keeping him around for the 2nd half of the season.

Why?

Someone, please list some PROs to this that aren't 'he has a contract' or 'we should be nice'.

The CONs here are massive, and again a giant misstep in leading this club.

- He's gone regardless of what happens. Why keep the guy around with the failed plan/idea/management style to continue to manage players in a way that not be relevant at all once the season ends?

- No one respects him. Keeping him engaged is only going to cause tempers to flare especially if we continue this slump. What does success look like with this? Who is going to give a shit as to what he wants?

- No caretaker or new manager to get ahead of planning for this year and beginning of next year. Instead, we are going to end up with someone who will be pressed for time when they start. This will also mess with the planning for selling/buying new players this summer.

- Win/lose/draw there will be drama. We win, oh, maybe Tuchel is ok, keep him? We lose, Tuchel out now, players suck, etc. Again, this is a lose/lose all the way around. For what? What are we gaining?

- This will slow down/stop player negotiations for literally 6 months. Players will not renew or be interested in a transfer after this whole shit show, especially if they don't even know who the new manager will be. We already had a report where Xavi Alonso said there is too much drama at Bayern for him already.

- What's Tuchel going to do tactically? Admit he's wrong and change? Again, lose/lose. This will turn into a gigantic blame game between the board, players and him. Who the hell wants to be a part of this? We're going to go through the motions and do what exactly?

- We will probably lose DeLigt because he won't get a straight answer on his participation in the team for another 6 months and Davies will not renew because going to Real is easier, less drama and won't be part of basically a rebuild season. This will also effect potential transfers in because honestly, who wants to be part of this fucking mess?

The only other side of this needs to come from the board. Two things need to happen regardless, and its been past due.

- We need to sell off dead weight, players that don't put the team ahead of themselves and stop giving players 17 chances to get their head out of their ass.

- There needs to be a stated policy that the new manager is part of a long term project (i.e. what JN was supposed to be) and any bitching, whining or fighting this manager are going to end up with you either fined or on the fucking For Sale list. No more of this teaming up and being unhappy like a bunch of bitches. The players can't run the place; they are the fucking employees.
