This isn't about the last 2 games. They are simply a symptom of the larger problem.
It's been obvious for a long time now that Tuchel is at best, not a great fit here and at worst, a complete fucking charlatan that is out of his depth. Either way, he's not going to magically fix whatever is broken and then all will be fine. Regardless, just looking at him and the way he holds himself and talks just embodies weakness and has no business where a winning/leadership mentality should be. But the sun will rise in Munich right? Meanwhile he'll be seen sitting on the bench with his face buried in his hands while shaking his head for 20 seconds during the 55th minute.
Even with wins in the Bundesliga, we looked weak and vulnerable. Our record on paper in the Champions League looks much stronger than what it looks like in reality. Leverkusen didn't just beat us, it was like we were one of the teams playing Bayern 2-3 years ago. Literally everything against Lazio wasn't an 'off game', it was business as usual.
Why not just rip that band aid off? Are we worried the treble is in danger again (LOL)?
Hell, at this point I bet we would play better simply because Tuchel would be gone. I'd actually be excited to see what new/different ideas would come out of someone new at this point. Why? Because I know what the alternative is - more of the same, bland, predicable bullshit football.
It's not going to change. It's not like all of a sudden we're going to have an 80s music montage and everyone is going to 'get it'. Might as well take a shot, because, why not?
