Over the last year, we've tried to find new people to help around here. Fwiw, the person who created this sub lost interest years ago and the guy he invited to help, my friend, has next to no time to help out anymore. We've only ever had a total of 6 or 7 mods over the life of this sub. Bottom line is that only 2 of the 3 mods have any time to commit here and the second of those two has actually moved away from the bay area. Also, speaking for myself, I have quite a bit less time this year compared to last year.

We're looking for 2 locals, laptop users, who look at Reddit 5 or more days each week and who are willing to spend 10-20 minutes here on each of those visits to Reddit. Using a laptop with a mouse is requested because it just makes the tasks so much easier/faster.

• We need somebody for mornings, some time between 6 and 8am, and an additional person to help late nights, between 10pm and midnight. If you are willing to try it out, please send a mod mail only. Tell us your name/alias, age, the city you live and the time of day you normally browse Reddit.

Your main task will be approving or removing posts from the mod queue. Read each post, determine if the post needs to be removed or approved. If removing, add a removal reason to the post. Move on to the next post. As it is now, less than half of the posts are receiving removal reasons because I can't log in from a laptop, most of the time.
