1st off, a soundtrack and sound design are 2 completely different things so those of you who think the "sound design in 1 is better aren't that smart. Bf 1 has a better soundtrack, while bf5 has better sound design. 2nd off, the games run in the same engine. Bf 5 I'd a more up to date version of said engine.(better) 3rd off, graphics are improved drastically in bf 5. I actually have color in that game, while bf 1 is dull and grey. 4th off, the sounds are also improved they utilize real sounds from the real weapons and engines of vehiGrey. A lot of sounds from bf1 are from ww2 weapons and bf 4. 5th off, bf5 has little to no fake weapons, while in bf1 all full auto weapons outside of a select few were fake or highly experimental prototypes.(on paper or 3 at most produced. the Hellriegel being a fine example)(the majority of fake skins in bf 5 come from the customization options not a fake gun itself) 6th, bf 5 has infinitely better customization than 1. 7th, random bullet deviation, enough said there. This is an honest breakdown of my experiences I've been playing bf since bf 2.
