Is the game still getting big content updates?

Hi.
I see even though this game is 6 years old it still recently received a content patch. While that's amazing I generally prefer not picking up a game till there's no more big changes planned, as I don't often come back to replay. Are there still any big changes planned? Do the devs have a roadmap?
Appreciate any info.
