OK the ending was pretty heat as I don't mind an obvious cliffhanger, leading to the story being able to go all over the place. But my questions is what the hell is Fuchs doing with the other princess. For both books they are mentioned and now in the second books epilouge he probes he is a bad ass by killing another room full of guards just like in Witchhunter but I still don't get what he's doing with her. I don't think he is hexed but I don't get if she is a witch either. Also i don't like how nothing with the Davkul plot line is in this book as it's obvious with the first book that they set up Claire and Arvid. I'm just confused with Casey is choosing with direction I guess cause Witchunter obviously is the Setup but it feels like The Captain is just the Claire plotline for the whole book with Side plots. UBER SPOILER is Hobbs marrying Claire now as he passed the Barbarians right of passage to be the Barbarian king as seen in the game or is that just him becoming a Barbarian.
