Should BB Transition More Into A Game Like Squad Or Remain A MMFPS?

Recently, I have been playing the game a lot but I have noticed how the player base is dwindling. The game itself is great and I love everything about it; However, I feel like it has so much potential to be a true team oriented strategy fps much like squad. I think that if it were to transition into something more team oriented it would regain its former glory and player base. Let me know what you think or any ideas on how to increase team strategy within the game!
