Rb Lb no input, new controller, was switching out thumb sticks

Title says it all, was just switching out sticks, Iām pretty good working with silicon, I did not remove the battery plug hoping I did not short something. It worked before I replaced them and the top d pad button also does not work, could this be an alignment issue, here are some pics!
