My dad owned over 150 guitars when he passed away. A healthy mix of basses in there. These (the first 9 pictured) are the ones I am keeping for myself.
I am not a guitar player, but I am slowly learning. These are the ones I decided to keep from his massive collection, for a variety of reasons. There’s a Kramer Duke in there, and a picture of him playing his original Duke in his band in the 80s (he eventually hand sawed off the frets of it bc he’s a badass, but at some point had to pawn it to buy Christmas presents for us).
My sister kept a banjo, I gave a close friend who is a semi-pro a fender strat, a fender telecaster, and an red Ibanez Artcore so that I can see them getting played every month when I make the trip to see his band play, and another family member a fender acoustic.
The one I am learning on is the Taylor acoustic, and my husband is learning on the Fender resonator (he is left handed and that was one of the few that could be either).
Anyway, enjoy the guitar p*rn. There’s some beauties in there.
