So I'm thinking of investing in an Ampeg head, and the mighty SVT-810E cabinet, with its eight 10" speakers. I know this delivers devastating power, but I keep wondering, given some of the low frequencies that are often important when it's time to shatter the earth with your bass, is there a cabinet featuring 12" speakers that bassists sometimes use?
