Im trying to start actually learn how to read notation rather than tab but im struggling with some parts. I can identify the notes on the bass but how do i know which notes on paper refer to which note to play on bass.
What i mean is that there are more than just 3 of one note on the guitar but how do i know which one i play.
I played clarinet for 6 years and it was easy because there were only 3 of each note (e.g low g, middle g, high g) but on bass there are more than that.
Sorry if this is confusing but i tried putting it as easy as possible to understand.
