I have a problem applying minor and major scales. What's the easiest way to start sounding noticeably better when I jam in blues on minor, and when I jam in blues in major?
Post Body

I just can't seem to find a way to apply these scales when I jam with my guitarist and drummer. Usually when it's major I can hit the 3rd and 7th-- but for minor, which notes should I focus on? My main question is: *how does the minor scale (and the notes you should emphasize) REALLY differ from a major scale)?

sorry if these is really newbie. I've actually jammed for a while, but it seems when a song goes minor, I get lost. I think I have been playing wrong for a year now!!
