I was watching this video review of a microphone, and by chance there is a bass lick that has the exact sound I would like to have on my bass. Can you distinguished fellow bass players help me in the right direction. I like the metallic, plucky compressed sound, and there may be some distortion as well. I am interested in all the links of the chain, from bass-guitar to rig and effects. I have been playing bass for many years, but usually go for more mellow, p-bass sounds, and haven't been able to collect the right gear for this sound.
