New to bass - question about Vox Amplug

I am completely new to bass but did as much research as I could to figure out what I need to play and the way I want to. I want to practice in my small bedroom so I think I'm getting the Bass Vox Amplug. However, I think I might want to play music for my friends over Discord (a voice calling program) once in a while, is there a way to do this with the Vox Amplug or do I have to shell out money for an entire amp? I would love to save space and money as that's my priority.
