Sonuus G2M v3 bass converter inquiry

Hi all,
I'm thinking about buying Sonuus G2M v3 midi converter to mess with it during these boring and challenging times. The problem I have is that all the people I've seen using it on youtube have connected it on their computer throught either synth or amp or preamp or something else. I'm wondering is it possible to connect your bass throught Sonuus straight into laptop/PC without any other pieces of equipment ?
