Recently I made the decision that the next bass I get will be fretless and also have more than four strings. (I want to start playing a lot more tech death) So I've spent the better part of my interent browsing this past week looking up some inexpensive fretless five string basses and I haven't been able to find one that tickle's my fancy and doesn't break my wallet. Does anyone else here know some good fretless five string basses that don't exceed $500? Even some fretted ones that could be de-fretted would be nice. I appreciate the help, thanks for reading.

*edit: forgot to mention that I prefer a precision pickup at the neck and whatever else or nothing at all at the bridge.
