My friend's mother has a vintage Fender P-Bass -- I want to buy it, but I have a few questions
Post Body

I will be able to get some pictures this Sunday. I am not sure what year the bass is from, judging from the bridge cover etc. I believe it's from the 60s or early to mid 70s.

The bass has no strings. Internally I am not sure if it works well. I guess this makes it hard to determine how much I should pay, but I really think it would be fun to fix up a bass guitar, especially a vintage one. If it does work internally, it won't cost much to put strings on it. I'm sure it could get tuned up, etc.

My question is how much money approximately should I pay? It is in good condition other than the strings it is missing. Is there a general price I should go for? Thanks guys!

PS - I wll upload pics on sunday!
