New GX-10 for my pedalboard?

Hello,
I'm thinking of buying my first pedalboard. As I don't have much money, I'm thinking of getting a multifx.
I need your advice on the following: Buy the new BOSS GX-10 because I can put the direct sim on one channel and all the processing on another (including the possibility of low pass on the L channel and high pass on the R channel).
then the outputs go to a stereo DI and send to the FOH.
Am I thinking right?
