Bass amp questions

Hey everyone, I have read different things online and I’m still not really understanding how bass amps and the cabs work as far as ohms/watts, etc. I want to pick up an orange terror bass head, 500rms (?), with 250 watts into 8 ohms and plug it into my Ampeg 410 hlf. I have two of the cabs. The cabs have an impedance of 4ohms. I don’t really know what those things mean necessarily and would like to make sure things are safe. Please help me out. Thank you.
