Fender Rumble 15, so far so good?
Post Body

Hi all, hope you're well. So I recently brought a bass as a graduation gift for myself (Jackson JS3 Spectra IV). I initally bought a Vox Amplug to go with it, but decided to buy an amp shortly after. I saw a rumble 15(v3 i believe) at the music store, tried it out and loved it, so I brought it home (the rumble 40's were sold out).

The issue is, ever since then, i've seen posts online bashing the rumble 15. For me personally, it plays and sounds great (untrained ear probably) and it's REALLY loud. Even though i play it at the lowest possible volume, I can hear it throughout my house.

So my question is - is it really a bad amp? I keep hearing that it doesn't have great tone, etc etc. I don't mind upgrading my amp much later, but for now i'd rather not have to resell this and look for another amp. I should mention that I do also have a drumkit that I could use to jam alongside the bass, but it's a digital kit so being unable to hear the bass over it shouldn't bee TOO much of an issue (in theory). I don't really plan on playing with a band anytime soon, and at least to me, for practice, this amp seems just right.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you all, have a great day!
