I feel like I've never understood if there is a best basketball player of all time. Is there truly a best player ever or is it mostly just opinions?
Post Body

I remember as a kid I used to always watch sports shows where commentators would debate who they think the best basketball player ever was. Is it clear and obvious that there's a best player of all time? Or is that an opinion that's easily debatable?

One good season does not make a GOAT!!!

Proud Bronsexual bitch. Well when did he pass MJ in points like five years ago. Yeah a pass first player passing first clutch my fucking pearls. Every player has shortcomings Michael Jordan couldn't pass his way out of a paper bag and today couldn't keep a career with his gambling addiction.

In a sport where the person with the most points is the best? LeBron pisses on Jordan.

I'm currently watching the games again. You need to do the same. Every time he got the ball two defenders that is called a double team regardless if you are in zone or not.

It's not about eras it's about who is the best and clearly it's LeBron. If LeBron drove a taxi on the side he'd still put up huge numbers in any era.

Yeah one poor finals performance where he was double and triple teamed. Of course Wade was having a great finals all the focus was on containing LeBron. Jordan is an will always be over rated. Who did he really play in their prime that was close to Dirk or Tim Duncan or Steph and Klay? Nobody!!!!

So what your saying is Bill Russell is the GOAT then? Since he has the most championships. He has played and beaten Tim Duncan's Spurs coached by POP! He beat the Steph Curry and company the best record in history. He choked against Dirk or was Dirk playing his best basketball of his illustrious career. Get your head straight I would take 10 visits to the finals over 6. Yes in half of his career LeBron has made it to the finals. If you think Jordan in this era would've stayed with the bulls than get paid you're dumb.

The clear winner is LeBron. He has accomplished every single goal you can in the NBA except DPOY, which he's been screwed out of multiple years. Look at his stats, his awards, and the fact he is the most balanced NBA superstar of all-time. It's not up for debate. People who say Jordan forget about Kareem Kobe Tim Duncan all superior players to Jordan by far in stats.
