Inspiring our children... It's our job

Post Body

One of the best things that we can do is to inspire our children to join powerful organizations while maintaining anti-fascist values. We need to mobilize as educators, families, and protestors to not only join reform movements, but to also encourage the next generation to promote antifa values inside powerful institutions.

We need to create a long-term, global movement - an ethos that our families can pass from one generation to another. It needn't be religion - it can be a form of philosophy, a form of scientific thinking, a form of critical thinking training - all rooted in local political action.

There are no billionaires encouraging young politicians in America. If you compare this to the EU, it's radically different. Our strength will always be in our youth, and we need to instill values to get involved and for them to stay active after we're gone. The greatest danger is we go the route of an Iran or middle-eastern country where all the young kids start immigrating to other countries, and the state just slaughters its left-over protesting youth.

In many ways, we need to militarize and teach our young to become resilient, and to teach and pass on these values to the next generation. The next 50-100 years are going to be very hard, guys. We need to be ready.

The best we can do is teach our children to be strong and to be ready for the long war ahead. It's not going to be pretty.
