3
Fun game for older Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth players, 2 ball.
Post Body

Basically hot potato but with 2 baseballs.

Players stand in a circle, one player or coach has 2 baseballs. The game begins by soft toss across the circle to 2 different players, if they catch it they toss it to someone else immediately, keep those balls moving, if they drop it, they are out. No tossing to the person next to the tossing player. If someone has both balls tossed to them, they are out if they drop both but remain in if they catch at least one ball.

Players are eliminated until there are 4 players left. Once there are 4 players, they stand across from each other and toss the ball to their partner across from them until someone gets eliminated.

3 players then communicate and toss in rotation with both balls until someone is out.

2 players left and each tosses a ball to the other until only one player remains.

I personally use this game to help players learn to keep track of the balls in motion without a hard hit or throw towards them. It helps their reaction time as well. This game is a fun starter for practice or cool down time at the end of practice. The players on my teams have all loved the game for years, I had a couple of players pass it on and teach their high school teams the game. I'm sure you can play it with younger players, maybe with wiffles instead, I hope someone here can use it.
