SHOCKED that ronny/lily is a popular episode
Post Body

I literally hated it. It was so stupid and ridiculous. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE clicking around IMDb and finding out it’s THE HIGHEST RATED EPISODE! It seems to be popular on this sub too so am I missing something? Thought the same thing about 710N (pretty sure that’s the episode, with the dirtbikers trying to get Barry).

I feel like overall the show is generally plausible* which makes the stakes and tension very high. I’m okay with pushing some things; Fuches finding Janice’s car by following tire prints when the police were unable to for months made me roll my eyes but like fine, whatever. But having an entire episode be that cartoonishly ridiculous takes me out completely. On my last rewatch, I skipped ronny/lily because it detracts from the story for me.

So am I missing something? What’s the appeal?

Edit: * initially said realistic but that is not quite accurate
