Is there a series of steps from choosing your class to working on a sub? I've read the other guides but I'm more looking for social conventions.
Are you meant to introduce yourself and ask what you should do? Or just come in with your specialized role and do that? How do you decide if you want to, in serious servers, play to win vs play as a traitor?
How is a traitor even chosen? What happens if you die, is it common to leave the server for RP purposes or do you create a new character?
For example you are traitor/doing things to conflict with the rest of the crew. They kill you or imprison you. Do you create a new character and just go devoted to the crew now and everyone forgives you (IRL)?
My struggle is that it just feels like too much work to join a crew. You don't know what roles are open in advance, you don't know what missions are being done and its unclear to me what people expect of others -- which seriously conflicts with any RP or traitor esque concepts.
Should I expect someone to RP imprisoning me, or should I help imprison the traitor or am I just bullying them?
