Hey all, BRAND NEW player here. We've got a small crew and finally successfully completed a mission after several disastrous attempts. But it seems like it's completely standalone, with no XP/progression/carryovers between successive missions. Kinda like we're playing individual custom games.

There's so many posts talking about Campaign and the videos we've watched all seem to have Campaign in mind, and the skill trees/ talk about sub upgrades seems in line with this. Should we be doing that instead of individual missions? Is progress saved for all 3 of us so that if just one of us loads up the game, they have all their upgrades/etc? Or is it something like Valheim where the host needs to have a server established to track progress?
