I am months pre-op but working with my therapist on anticipating different things for the surgery.
I’ve been focused a lot lately on creating wishlists for cute designer dresses and the wedding dresses I’ll be able to wear (and my fiancé being able to lift me dirty dancing style during the first dance)...
I have so many anticipated NSVs in mind for when I’m under 200 lbs (hw: 265. 30f. 5’0”)... including the non-retail ones...
but I need some NSVs to look forward to while I’m still over 200lbs.
since it’ll be a certain amount of time before I get to onederland, I want to create some shorter term tangible goals to have as guideposts.
What did you guys use as guideposts for the first number of weeks or months with the first sets of weight loss?
So far I have: - zipping up my knee-high boots bought when I was like 220 lbs - fitting easier into my tap shoes - being able to switch my rings to non ring-finger placements
