HW: 352 lbs, SW: 281 lbs, CW: 252 lbs (RNY 9/16/24)
Today I stepped on the scale and I’m now officially down 100 pounds from my all time heaviest weight. When I started this journey I was down to 335 and I lost quite a bit during the pre-op counseling and liquid diet. But, this is still a milestone I had to share.
My lovely supportive wife led the way for us and had her surgery on 6/17/24. She’s down 80 pounds as of today, too!
It hasn’t always been easy (I’m working through some minor complications now), but if I had it to do over, I’d still chose to get the surgery all over again in a heartbeat. I’m one blood test away from official having my type 2 diabetes declared in remission, my resting heart rate has dropped 25 points, and I’m hoping to be able to go off my blood pressure medication soon.
If you’re on the fence or worried, please know it’s worth it! These results are just since May this year and there’s still more to come!
Congrats! Killing it!
