Hi all,
I hope this is the right subreddit, I didn’t see one specifically for minimalist shoes outside of this one. I’ve been wearing barefoot/minimalist shoes exclusively for about three years now with great results. However, I’m reaching the conclusion that I need something with a little more cushion - I live in the city and do a lot of walking on concrete, metal, asphalt, etc.
I alternate between the Bearfoot Ursus and the Merrell Vapor Glove, however after a long day walking on hard surfaces my feet and joints really ache, so I am hoping for something with a little more cushion.
Most of the stuff I see that has some degree of cushion from, say, Xero and Altra, has a VERY busy design that I’m not a fan of.
I really like the looks of the Flux Adapt, but have read very mixed reviews of both their quality and customer service (though these were largely from when they were first released and I’m willing to chalk that up to growing pains).
Anyone have any thoughts on a slightly cushioned casual shoe with a clean design for everyday use? Should I give the Flux a shot since they now have a 30 day guarantee? Thanks!
