I’ve been practicing toe strengthening exercises along with wearing vivobarefoot shoes when needed.
I’m not a runner but actively try to be barefoot and be more mindful of activating my toes
My reasons for going barefoot are mostly athletic but I’d also like to regain more feeling in my pinky toe/ not have it curl inwards (if that’s possible). I’m 19 and most of my life I’ve warn flip flops or have been barefoot but 16-18 have definitely been foot restrictive, tho I would like to go the rest of my life barefoot/ minimal. Ooo knee pain was another thing but I’ve been working on squat form and I think the barefoot stuff has helped with my knee pain as well.
Thank you if you read this far. Just a personal post
