These are the Vibram FiveFingers KSO EVOs in size 39. My foot measures 9.25 inches, so Iām between 38 and 39 according to the size chart. I sized up per the tip on the website and because I want to wear socks. However Iām usually a 7 or 37 in normal shoes and Vivos.
The big toe fits great, it has just enough space before hitting the front of the shoe. My other toes have plenty (too much?) space. But Iām mostly concerned about the heel. Thereās just a bit too much material back there and my heel doesnāt fill up the cup. The shoe doesnāt slip off my heel though.
Anyone have VFFs that fit similarly and ended up being ok? Or would you size down if you were me? Iāll probably order a 38 and compare. But damn I wanted to run in these today!

Thanks for your input! Iām going to keep these until the 38 pair comes in and then return them once Iām sure the 38s fit better :)
Thatās great to hear! Even while trying this pair, I didnāt want to take them off, theyāre so comfortable. Canāt wait to get the correct size and put some miles on them
I really thought I was being proactive by ordering the bigger size. šāāļø I shouldāve known because Iāve never bought a 8.5 in any shoe. How do you like the EVOs so far?
