So I recently picked up the Adidas 4D FWD Ultra, and I absolutely love the sock-like fit they have where it feels like it is squeezing my foot. I ove it a little too much.
The thing is, they were $220 USD. Now, that's totally fien for a one time purchase, but shoes aren't forever, so I want to find a style that is similar, but cheaper.
While looking into shoes that have a sock-like snug fit, I ran across the concept of Barefoot Shoes. And while I'm not a runner, I thought this might be the perfect subreddit to ask, assuming it's allowed, which type of casual everyday sneaker-like barefoot running shoes you guys would recommend that are durable, and somewhat affordable?
I wouldn't want a pair that has an extremely thin sole, as I like the protection that soles give my feet, but I'm nto sure if there is a barefoot shoe with a decent sole thickness, since part of the appeal seems to be feeling the ground beneath you, but if there is one, I would love to hear about it.
THanks!
