I thought it'd be fun to have an AI give me a spoiler-free walkthrough for old point-and-click games without giving me the explicit step by step directions.
Problem is it can't seem to get anything right. It just makes up an entire walkthrough for a game that doesn't exist based just on the game title and year I gave it.
I've had varying degrees of success trying it with bing's chat but either I'm asking something it doesn't like or it's just not ideal. Any ideas to get it to work, or why it might not like the prompt for this purpose?
I've been toying with different versions of this prompt:
"Act as an in universe character for the videogame "Willy Beamish". Say things that would be appropriate for this character, setting, and time period. Walk me through the game without telling me exactly what to do: instead lead me there via deduction. Guide me to get out of detention in the beginning of the game."
