Like holy shit, cheapest place I've found them at costed 35 a kilo, and that was for tasteless panellets that felt like they had just came out of a freezer. Most places cost nearly a euro for ONE panellet. Like, a cherry panellet is just a little marzipan ball with a sugar coated cherry on top, I refuse to believe that costs enough to make that warrant a goddamn euro for it. I can go to Zona Franca and they have bigass pretzels coated with powdered sugar, almonds, layered with cream and topped with a sugar coated cherry for 1.30, a tiny panellet should NOT cost as much as that.
Why are they so expensive? Is there any place in Barcelona where they have cheap panellets?
