The thread about buzz cut pricing got me curious. What is the pricing scale at your shop/rent/commission and how does it compare to most local shops (not chains)? Also, what is the shop you own/work at like?
Old School Shop 3 Barbers in NW Ga:
$18/Full Haircut
$20/Full Shave
$15/Shave w Goatee
$10/Shave w Beard
$10/Quick Trim
$5/Line Up
(All Services Include Nape Shave/Jeanie Rub)
$30/Day Booth
We are actually a bit more expensive than most the local area barbers despite being relatively cheap by industry standards. Our booth rent if totaled at a weekly amount is about average for our area ($150/week), but if we aren't there we don't have to pay it. Average cut time is 15-20 minutes. Our shop is 105 years old. My coworkers are both female barbers with 20 years in the game. I started in September of last year after completing school.
