I just got the Andis BGRC’s and as far as the clippers themselves I’m enjoying them. They’re nice and quiet and very light weight. My issue as of right now is the hinge on them is much tighter than my Classic 76’s and it’s hard to take off the blades while it’s running without shredding my thumb. Is there any way to loosen it so the blades come off easier? Or do you think they will become a little easier to pull back over time?

Why are they shredding your fingers? I can press as hard as I want against any of my blades while running and all I'll feel is vibration, not cutting. But, maybe try grasping the blade at the sides rather than thumb over the cutting blade to remove 🤷

I'm sure that with use the hinge will loosen up, since it's just a spring.
