Is there any device out there to heat up gel, similar to the wahl hot lather machine? Or can I just use that for gel aswell?
Like hair gel, or shaving gel? If shaving gel, are we talking gel gel, or like Edge gel that foams when used?
If you're talking like shaving cream gel in a can like Gillette - yes, there are some lather warners available for them. But, my experience - they're useless. The way the can fits into the dispenser & dispenses, simply doesn't work. The internals of the dispenser get clogged with dried cream, and you can't disassemble it to clean. It's also all plastic, so even when it's not clogged it's hit & miss what cans will actually fit & dispense, and whether they will at any given time. I'm not sure anyone is still making them, but Conair makes/made one and babyliss makes/made a basically identical model. I'm sure there's other knockoffs of the same design on Amazon and such as well. I paid like $120 for my babyliss model - never worked well, half the time nothing would dispense and some cans the nipple was too short to even fit into the dispenser. Skinny cans, like the newer styles sold now most places & brands (vs the old squat style cans) don't work because the dispenser depends on the can pressing against the sides of the holder to dispense when the button is pressed. If the can doesn't fill the dispenser, it won't work.
If you're talking about gel like tomb45 or l3evl 3, nothing I'm aware of specific to it. Just store your bottle in the towel warmer (wrapped in a damp towel - the bottle will melt if not). This is how I store a bottle of conditioner for scalp treatment.
