I got my first ever bad online review today. I messaged the guy and apologised and asked what was up. He said that the haircut was fine but he could tell that I was distracted and seemed unfocused. And heโs 100% right. I am going through a really difficult break up and then found out this morning that old friend had died. Not that this is any kind of excuse but Iโm just having trouble with not bringing my shit to work and itโs affecting my cuts.
I gave the client a refund and he took his review down. Not sure whether I need advice or what. Just wanted to rant a little.
Imagine getting what you call a good haircut, but then complaining - publicly - because the guy was "distracted".
Was this a regular client or a one-off? What difference doesn't it make if you were "districted" as long as the cut was good?
Ignore this dude. That's like complaining about an oil change where your car runs fine and everything was done, but the mechanic didn't seem like his heart was in it. What? The service got done. It got done properly & to your liking - you're just complaining to complain.
