What’s with this warning that just came with my ghost 3 kit? Is this suggesting I don’t oil the blades or use coolcare or anything on my clippers? Or is it just so jrl doesn’t have to cover my warranty when I inevitably clean my tools? Googled the warning and didn’t have anything come up. Would love to have some info from anyone else as I usually oil all my equipment before use. Tia
I'll caution: depending on the type of plastic used in the housing, the o-phenylphenol present in spray disinfectants, -TB barbicide, H42, etc - can actually chemically react and degrade plastics manufactured with BPA and other phenols - so lexan/makrolon (polycarbonate) and some epoxys will become brittle and crumble apart if exposed to phenol.
