How do you guys advise labeling your tools? Has anyone labeled their clippers with vinyl? Thanks for any advice!

Ya, 99% of the time tools were safe. A comb might come up missing, but never anything bigger. It was always the schools supplies - cool care, etc - that we'd somehow go through 5 cans a day doing 10 cuts. Most of the time students look out for other students stuff, and you're rarely away from your stuff when you're set up anyway most of the time. I wouldn't leave anything unattended in any more private areas (break areas, lockers, etc if you have those) because some people will be more bold when there's less chance of an audience.

Plus if your school is anything like mine, you and everyone else will be buying/selling/trading tools for the next x-months.
